When you think of warm meals, salad probably doesn’t come to mind. Warm and hearty salads are perfect for the cooler days ahead. Adding roasted root vegetables and brassicas gives a salad that warm cozy feel we all need when the temperatures start to drop.
Roasting vegetables is a simple and easy way to cook your veg. Simply pop in the oven whilst you prep the cold ingredients.
TOP TIP
People often find that warm salads can over wilt leafy greens. Our trick is to add the warm ingredients with the cold ingredients just before you eat it. Comb carefully, add your dressing and you are good to go.
